This past weekend I was asked by Barkbox to draw pet portraits in Manhattan Beach! It was so fun meeting everyone and to support such an awesome company! I took about 25 min for each dog and used photos because my models don’t know how to sit still very well ๐
Barkbox just launchedย their first book called Dogs and their Peopleย – a collaboration of stories, anecdotes, and photos for all Dog Lovers. Check it out in the link above!
I finally got to check out the new Broad museum in Downtown, LA!
I’ve been busy doing some work for the new Tipsy Cow in Woodland Hills. They hired me to paint their sign and do some chalkboard art around the restaurant. I’ve worked with these guys for the past 8 years; they’re always opening new restaurants- and keeping me busy!
Check them out when you’re on the West side of the Valley for some good grub and great beer!
Here are some photos of the process! Starting from a blank slate…
Here was the not-so-fun part:
This week I’ve been working on aย petย portrait of Roxie!
